I wonder
if you make it a habit
of pulling back curtains
Naked
you look out the window
morning light now flooding through
stretching
into every corner
And you are there
a stage for the play of shadows
as they softly
transform into light
Your body
is fearless
You are standing there
showing me
that the sum of all
our flaws is
beauty, is
sunrise on skin, is
skin freed
from clothing’s confines, is
your body
illuminated, is
mine
