Colors of hot, ragged rage and cool, beautiful tranquility are split by the grayness in which we walk, the suggestion of a howling face and a bloody blade, and the impression of some flower either blooming or dry and dead. This piece is meant to depict the contradicting emotions that come with loss and grief. (Water color, ink, colored pencils on paper.)
